Dr. Benjamin Harvey is the CEO and founder of AI Squared, which provides AI integration to firms in any business application with ease. AI Squared raised $6M seed round from top tier VC firm New Enterprise Associates and went on to secure Fortune 100 financial services company Vanguard as its first enterprise customer. Dr. Harvey leads a diverse team of 20 and has since secured contracts with NSA, NGA, DoD and Airforce in the financial services and federal spaces.

Dr. Harvey founded AI squared in response to problems encountered during his time at Department of Defense/National Security Agency where he served as the Chief of Operations Data Science for over a decade. He also worked as the head of data science for the Edward Snowden leaks. Prior to founding AI Squared in 2019, Dr. Harvey was an early employee of Silicon Valley startup Databricks where he served as an artificial intelligence and machine learning SME and architect.

He holds a Cryptologic Computer Science Certificate from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a B.S. in Pre-Medicine/Computer Science from Mississippi Valley State University, a Masters in Computer Science from Bowie State University, and a Ph.D. from Bowie State University’s Department of Computer Science. His accomplishments also include research at Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, the National Institute of Health, and the National Center for Biomedical Computing.
